What changed in each version of palmtop. Your version: palmtop --version; update with palmtop update. The app on your devices updates by itself.

1. 0.10.0

   One pairing per computer, and a new address.

   • Pair once per computer. A paired device now sees every project of that computer, including the ones your agent starts later: no more scanning a QR code for each project. palmtop pair works from any folder and no longer creates a project.
   • The selector under the title lists the projects of your computers, most recent first, with how many checks are still to review. Follow activity now keeps the device on the project and the session your agent is working in.
   • Delete this project… in the ⋯ menu deletes a project from any device: sessions, checklists and reviews go on the computer too, your files are never touched.
   • One notification switch per device, valid for every project of every computer you paired.
   • palmtop moved to palmtop.miltonwebagency.it. The old address keeps working for a few days, only to let installed versions update themselves.

   After updating you have to pair your devices again, and the checklists on your computer are reset: this version changes how pairing works and does not carry the old data over. Run palmtop update, then palmtop pair and scan the QR code with each device.

2. 0.7.2

   The missing checklist for AI coding.

   • The agent guide and the Claude Code skill now only use checklists of things to verify or test. Plan checklists, to approve work before the agent starts, are gone.
   • Marks have one meaning: ✓ it works, ✕ it doesn’t work, ? you need more information. The agent follows your note: a change to make, a feature to remove, a partial problem to fix. A question never changes code unless you ask. An unmarked check is not tested yet.
   • palmtop is for every device, not just your phone: phone, tablet or a browser on your computer.
   • New website with documentation and this changelog.

   Run palmtop update: it also updates the Claude Code skill.

   Notifications on your devices.

   • Turn on notifications from the ⋯ menu of a project: your devices are notified when the agent creates a checklist, adds checks or sets a message.
   • Notifications show only the computer, the project and a title, never the text of your checks.
   • No notification while the app is open on screen. On iPhone and iPad, from the app added to the Home Screen.

   Add checks and write notes from your devices; messages from the agent.

   • + Add item at the bottom of a checklist: the agent reads your items as requests.
   • Note for the agent on each session, read with the next feedback.
   • palmtop message shows a short message from the agent at the top of the session.
   • Open on this computer on the pairing page, to use the app in a browser on the same computer.

   The computer name next to each project.

   • Projects show as COMPUTER - project in the app, in the pairing page and in the CLI, so projects with the same name on different computers are easy to tell apart.
   • palmtop config name shows or changes the name; the app updates live.

   • The agent guide covers checklists of tests to run and things to check.
   • In the app, a reviewed check shows only its mark: tap it to change it.

   Delete sessions and projects.

   • palmtop sessions, palmtop sessions delete, palmtop projects and palmtop projects remove, with confirmation. Sessions no longer “end”: they stay until you delete them.
   • Delete a session from the app, and Hide reviewed to see only the checks left to review.
   • Remove from this device for projects that no longer exist on the computer.
